Frequently Asked Questions and Answers
Everything you need to know about irrigation, well, and pump service with WaterCare.
Irrigation Services
Do you install new irrigation systems or only repair existing ones? +
WaterCare does both. We design and install complete new irrigation systems and repair existing sprinkler systems, evaluating your property layout, soil conditions, and water source so every zone works together.
What brands of controllers and pumps do you service? +
We service and replace equipment from most major manufacturers, including Myers, Sta-Rite, Goulds, Pentair, and F&W, and we troubleshoot all leading irrigation controllers.
How often should my irrigation system be inspected? +
WaterCare recommends quarterly or bi-annual irrigation inspections to catch inefficiencies, leaks, and coverage problems before they turn into a high water bill or a damaged lawn.
Do you offer irrigation on both city water and irrigation wells? +
Yes. We design and service irrigation systems supplied by city water or by irrigation wells, and we help you choose the most cost-effective option for your property.
Well & Pump Services
Do you drill new wells or only repair existing ones? +
WaterCare handles the full process, from drilling new shallow and deep wells to repairing and maintaining existing well and pump systems.
What is the benefit of a deep well over a shallow well? +
Deep wells draw from lower aquifers that are naturally free of iron, which means no iron staining on your home, driveway, sidewalks, or lawn, along with generally more consistent yield.
What causes a well pump to fail? +
Common causes include worn components, electrical failures, pump cycling issues, and pressure tank problems. Cloudy, sandy, or inconsistent water is often a sign of a pump or pressure tank issue.
Do you handle the permitting for a new well? +
Yes. We obtain all required permits ourselves, ensuring your installation meets local codes and passes inspection without delay.
Company & Service Area
What areas does WaterCare serve? +
WaterCare serves Flagler, Volusia, St. Johns, Putnam, and Duval Counties in Northeast Florida.
Are you licensed and insured? +
Yes. WaterCare has licensed well drillers and irrigation contractors and is fully insured. We are members of the Florida Ground Water Association (FGWA), National Ground Water Association (NGWA), and Florida Irrigation Society (FIS).
Do you offer a warranty on your work? +
Yes. WaterCare provides a one-year warranty on all parts and labor.
Do you serve commercial properties and HOAs? +
Yes. In addition to residential service, WaterCare designs, installs, repairs, and maintains irrigation and well systems for commercial properties and HOAs.
How is WaterCare different from other irrigation or well companies? +
Most competitors handle either irrigation or well systems, not both. WaterCare controls the entire water system, from below-ground wells and pumps to above-ground irrigation and sprinklers, which allows for more accurate whole-system diagnosis and fewer repeat repairs.
